Gem Identification Services
GIT's CIBJO Member (officially accredited by the World Jewellery Confederation since May 2000) has highly experienced gemologists and is equipped with the world's most advanced instruments. Its gem testing services include:
- Identifying all types of natural, synthetic and imitation gemstones, including enhancements
- Country-of-origin determination, especially for ruby, sapphire & emerald
- Identifying all types of jade, including enhancements
- Identifying natural, saltwater & freshwater cultured pearls; pearl enhancements
- Identifying natural, synthetic & imitation diamonds, including enhancements
- Diamond grading
- Identifying gemstones, diamonds and fineness of precious metals
- Diamond & Color stone Laser Inscription
Identification Reports
The center offers various types of gemstone reports as follows:
1. Gem Identification Report
This indicates gem variety, type, proportion, weight and includes a full description with a photograph of the gemstone. Quality grading of color for Ruby and Blue sapphire. The photograph of the gemstone is printed on a special type of paper which bears a three-dimensional hologram sticker to prevent counterfeiting.

2. Jade Report
This indicates jade variety, type, proportion, weight and includes a full description with a photograph of the jade. The photograph of the gemstone is printed on a security paper which bears a three-dimensional hologram sticker to prevent counterfeiting.

3. Pearl Report
This indicates pearl variety, type, proportion, weight and includes a full description with a photograph of the pearl. The photograph of the pearl is printed on a security paper which bears a three-dimensional hologram sticker to prevent counterfeiting.

4. Diamond Grading Report
The report indicates the variety, type, proportion, weight and the clear description including the quality of the diamond according to the 4Cs (Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight)

5. Determination of Authenticity of Fancy Colored Diamond Report
This report indicates diamond variety, type, proportion, weight and includes a full description of authenticity of color diamond with a photograph of the diamond. The photograph of the diamond is printed on a security paper which bears a three-dimensional hologram sticker to prevent counterfeiting.

6. Jewelry Report
This indicates gem variety, type, proportion, weight, and the precious metal finess incluing in the type of report and includes a full description with a photograph of the jewelry. The photograph of the jewelry is printed on a security paper which bears a three-dimensional hologram sticker to prevent counterfeiting.

7. Gem Identification Mini Report
This indicates gem variety, type, proportion, weight and includes a photograph of the gemstone on matt art paper.
